Built circa 1840
Our guesthouse is made up of what once was several small weaving cottages, arranged back to back - typical 1800's Industrial Revolution dwellings. Before becoming a guesthouse the buildings were put to use as shops (antiques and ice-cream!) and, more recently, a locally well-known restaurant, called Weavers, stood here for 35 years. Modern-day Weavers Guesthouse still retains the charm and many characteristics of those original weaving cottages, despite the changes in use over the years.
We are located within sight of the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the historic cobbled Haworth Main Street is just a minute's walk away. Our location, just a few hundred metres from the main shopping, eating and drinking area, means that we enjoy very peaceful surroundings whilst being just a stone's throw away from all the action. Equally, throw that stone in the opposite direction and you can be on the moors, away from everything and everyone in just a minute.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer spacious and stylish bed and breakfast accommodation with modern amenities. We have refurbished the house with a creative nod to the building's past and have tried to design with influences of historic Haworth. Weavers is perfect for walkers, steam train enthusiasts, literary buffs, history lovers, keen shoppers and those just looking for a relaxing break in peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
If you book direct with us, rather than through a third party travel agent website, you will receive a complimentary bottle of wine when you stay as a thank you.
All our rooms feature modern en-suite bathrooms, spa quality towels and bathrobes, complimentary Elysl toiletries, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, locally-made biscuits, Freeview TV and free Wi-Fi.
We invite you to make use of our guest lounge as you wish. There is seating, we can put the fire on and we have books and board games for you to borrow. There is also a well-stocked honesty bar. Books, games and items from the bar can also be taken up to your room.
Check in times are between 3:30pm and 9:00pm. Arrivals outside of these times are often possible but we ask that you please contact us in good time prior to your stay to make arrangements with us. We kindly ask that guests vacate their rooms by no later than 10:30am on the day of departure.
Weavers Guesthouse was built circa 1840. Whilst this does mean we have inherited some attractive architectural details and character, it also means that the structure of the building may present some physical barriers to accessibility. A full copy of our Access Statement is available on request. If you have any special requirements regarding access please do contact us before making a reservation so that we can discuss these with you and do our best to meet your needs.
To ensure all guests have a pleasant and relaxing stay we respectfully request the Residents' Lounge be vacated by 10.45pm.
Any damage over and above normal wear and tear found during the stay or following departure may be charged at an amount sufficient to cover repair costs or replace damaged items, together with a charge for loss of income during the repair period.
